With a focus on monkeys, sloths, other mammals, birds and reptiles; the JRC provides veterinary services, round-the-clock care and comfort to animals that would otherwise be unable to survive in the rainforest or the sea of the Caribbean.

Jaguar Rescue Center has open tours Monday - Saturday at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. It is around 2 hours and the rescue center fee is $22 USD per person. Children under 10 are free. You need to arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts to pay and get checked in. There were a good amount of people when we visited (around 50) and the tours are split.

The Jaguar Rescue Centre was simply fantastic if you want to see Ocelots, crocodiles, adorable baby sloths, parrots and Margays! It was amazing hearing their stories and learning about the animals. The only downside for me was having to wait another 8 years until I'm 18 and allowed to work there.
